Industrial & Engineering Enterprise Co. (IEEC) was established on March 13, 1953 as an Egyptian joint-stock company. In 1997, it was officially listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange and has since remained a cornerstone of Egypt's industrial and construction sectors.

Scope of Work

IEEC specializes in a wide range of engineering and contracting services, including:

  • Civil construction and infrastructure development
  • Mechanical and electrical installations for water treatment plants, power stations, and industrial facilities
  • Sewage networks, irrigation systems, and desalination plants
  • Construction of telecom networks, power lines, and housing projects
  • Roadworks, new communities, and urban development projects
  • Real estate investment and land development, including administrative and residential units
  • Leasing of fixed assets, machinery, vehicles, and real estate owned by the company

Historic Achievements

Over its decades of operation, IEEC has delivered some of Egypt’s most important infrastructure and development projects, including:

  • Participation in the construction of the Aswan High Dam (1968)
  • Expansion of national telephone networks in Alexandria, Domyat, Cairo (Helwan, Maadi, Shobra El-Khiema, Nasr City, Heliopolis, etc.) during the 1980s
  • Construction of water treatment facilities, new urban communities, and national housing projects
